The following are some examples of non-personal information that we collect and how we may use it: § We may collect information such as occupation, language, zip code, area code, location, and the time zone where a Canam Systems product is used so that we can better understand customer behavior and improve our products, services, and advertising.

§ We may collect and store details of how you use our services, including search queries. This information may be used to improve the relevancy of results provided by our services. Except in limited instances to ensure quality of our services over the Internet, such information will not be associated with your IP address.

If we do combine non-personal information with personal information the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.

Canam Systems takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Canam Systems online services protect your personal information during transit using encryption and other security protocols. When your personal data is stored by Canam Systems, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures.



Integrity and Retention of Personal Information

Canam Systems makes it easy for you to keep your personal information accurate, complete, and up to date. We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.



Location-Based Services

To provide location-based services Canam Systems may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your computer or device. Location-based services uses GPS to determine your devices’ approximate location. This location data is collected when a user clocks in or out of a job or uses Proven OnSite to track a technician.

Proven Jobs Mobile


Account Management and Data Deletion

 

Accounts cannot be created through our mobile application (Proven Jobs Mobile) and must be created and managed through our Proven Jobs web application or by an authorized administrator.

The mobile application does not provide functionality to create or delete user accounts. If you wish to request deletion of your account or personal information, you may submit a request by contacting Canam Systems at [support@canamsys.com] or by contacting a user within your organization who has administrative privileges and can delete the account on your behalf.
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, Canam Systems will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention of certain information is required or permitted by applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or compliance with legal requirements.
Certain information may be retained in backup systems or archived records for a limited period as required by our data retention policies and applicable laws.
